Ilham Ali reveals the details of her personality on Al Ashi Street

She stressed during a meeting with Behind: “I didn’t rest, and she searched on YouTube for (Bedouin dance), to learn the dance, and I found a video showing a big woman in life and she was dancing with a crutch, and when the scene began, the dance started.”
She drew attention to her ability to embody the character as she wrote in the novel, pointing out that she was similar to her in her strength, and the only thing in which she had difficulty was the accent and she was able to master her.
She emphasized that her role in the series is “one of the most important works in my career and I did not feel that I am acting, but as if I live in the situation. She also indicated that the biggest challenge was the mastery of the dialect, not integration with a personality and sacrifice.
She explained that “Al -Ashi Street” was not just a historical drama, but rather a documentation of the era, time and culture that almost forgot, saying: “This work documents our details … even small things like the shape of the cup today after ten years change, but it documents a moment, an environment, a feeling.”
Regarding the quality and development of Saudi drama, humans stressed: “Today we have become part of the Arab dramatic wave, we are no longer surprised by the presence of a Saudi work that competes with Arab, or a talented Saudi actor, or even a professional Saudi director.” And about the importance of the story in the success of any dramatic work, she said: “The story is the basis .. whatever the work is huge, if the story is not strong, it will not reach the audience.” (she has)
