المملكة: The Red Crescent saves an pilgrim exposure to a stroke inside the Prophet’s Mosque

The volunteer and emergency teams of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah region began this Friday afternoon at 12:21 noon, an emergency case of Umrah 60 -year -old exposure to symptoms of stroke while performing Friday prayers inside the Prophet’s Mosque.

The Director General of the Authority’s branch in Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah region, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al -Zahrani, explained that the medical deportation center received a report stating that there is an unconscious patient suffering from severe weakness in the right side of the body, with the symptoms continuing for 20 minutes.

Immediately after receiving the communication, the volunteer and emergency teams went to the site, where the patient’s initial care was provided to the patient.

After the medical evaluation, the stroke standards were confirmed, which necessitated the activation of the course of the approved strokes to ensure that it is quickly transferred to a specialized health facility to receive appropriate care, while ensuring the stability of its health condition during the transportation process.

Dr. Al -Zahrani pointed out that the rapid response and fruitful cooperation between voluntary and emergency teams contribute greatly to improving healing opportunities and reducing the complications of critical cases.

He also stressed the commitment of the Saudi Red Crescent teams to provide emergency services at the highest level to serve pilgrims and visitors inside the Prophet’s Mosque and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Al -Zahrani called on everyone to the importance of rapid reporting of emergency cases, with the need to identify the symptoms of stroke that require an immediate response.
He explained that the authority provides several channels to report emergency situations, including the unified number (997), the “Asfni” application, and the distress call service through the “Tawakulna” application, to ensure rapid access to the patient and provide the necessary assistance in a timely manner.
