Dubai Municipality supports the social community campaign "Al -Freij refrigerator"
Dubai, August 5/ WAM/ Dubai Municipality participated in the second edition of the societal social campaign “Al -Freij Refrigerator”, which was launched by “Farjan Dubai”, with the support of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation and in cooperation with “UAE water” and “Emirates Bank for Food” in support of the campaign aimed at distributing two million packages of water, juices and ice cream to workers in Dubai, to alleviate the effects of high temperatures during the season Summer, and enhance their safety at work sites.
The municipal team in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, participated in the distribution of water, juices and ice cream packages to workers, based on the great role played by the Dubai Municipality in supporting distinguished community initiatives that reflect the spirit of solidarity and human solidarity that characterizes Emirati society.
Marwan bin Ghalita emphasized that the societal social campaign “Al -Freij Refrigerator” is an inspiring initiative because of its strategic goals aimed at consolidating the values of compassion and interdependence and uniting efforts and provides a motivating model to mobilize the participation of society with its members and its institutions in order to support workers at this time of summer, and to provide a message of thanks and appreciation to them from society for their efforts in development.
His Excellency said: “This participation in the campaign, which starts from the original values that characterizes the UAE, in addition to its active contribution to mobilizing efforts to support the category of workers who make great efforts in various work sites during the summer months, based on the UAE’s keenness to appreciate and believe in their great role in the efforts of development, prosperity and their continuous giving.”
He added that supporting this campaign aims to ensure the achievement of its humanitarian goals, in addition to the uniqueness of the Emirati model in cooperation and solidarity, and the partnership between the various governmental, private and private agencies to support community initiatives and consolidate the position of Dubai is a global city that embraces humanity in all its forms, stressing the commitment of Dubai Municipality to support community initiatives in a way that enhances its ability to achieve its targets and give it greater lambs to advance With its goals in the future in a way that stimulates more giving and encourages the continuation of efforts in larger and more comprehensive initiatives.
The campaign embodies the efforts of “Farjan Dubai” to enhance the commitment of residents of residential neighborhoods in Dubai to their societal responsibility, especially towards the workers category in appreciation of their efforts and dedication to their work.
