Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerli Qaya revealed the developments of the collapse of a residential building in central Türkiye.
He explained that two people died, and three others were injured in the collapse of a residential building in the city of Konya Governorate in the center of the country.

The minister told reporters in Konya that the three people who were saved were taken to the hospital, in good condition, adding that the two deceased people are a young couple.
He continued, saying that four people were suspected, including the building owners.

Incidents of building collapse in Türkiye

The building collapsed on Friday evening, in Konya, and the cause of the collapse is still unclear, while the authorities opened a general investigation.
The Minister of the Interior said that there were 79 people residing in the four -storey residential building in the city of Konya, at a distance of 260 km, south of the capital, Ankara.

Hotel fire in Türkiye

This incident comes after a fire that broke out in a 12 -storey hotel, in a ski resort in northwestern Türkiye.
It resulted in the death of 78 people, and the investigation of the accident focuses on fire protection procedures.
