America allows the sale and delivery of Iranian oil stored on ships

The United States has permitted the sale and delivery of Iranian oil and its derivatives stored on board tankers since before March 20, until April 19, in an attempt to curb the rise in Energy pricescaused by the war in the Middle East.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Besent announced Thursday that the United States may lift some sanctions imposed on Iranian oil, to allow these transactions, but Tehran reported on Friday that it does not have a surplus of crude oil at sea.
