Abu Dhabi, January 27/ WAM/ The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research will be held tomorrow the second session of the “Emirates thinkers” forum, in the St. Regis Resort on the island of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi.

His Excellency Dr. Sultan Muhammad Al -Nuaimi, Director General of the Center, said that the convening of the “Emirates thinkers” forum in its second session under the slogan “creative national ideas”, with the participation of a group of experts, researchers, Emiratis and Emirati students, confirms the design of ideas for a better future for our country and future generations, and activating a contribution The national thought in achieving the goals of the centenary of the country “Emirates 2071”, as a comprehensive framework from which the “Emirates thinkers” project is launched.

Al -Naimi added that the Emirati thought is able to offer proactive and creative visions, in various fields, and that the second session will continue on this approach, to emphasize the pre -emptive vision of our country and its leaders.

The second session of the “Emirates thinkers” forum includes 14 interactive discussion sessions through major platforms that include a “orientation session” that will discuss future directions and Emirati aspirations, and “Barza Al -Fikr”, which includes dialogues with leaders, experts, decision makers, and major dialogue sessions, and the sub -platforms, It includes “Melis Researchers”, which provides academic dialogue sessions to extract creative ideas, and the “Emirates thinkers laboratory”, which brings together the strategic partners of the Emirates Center with youth and academics in interactive workshops that provide them with the most important skills of the century and its methodologies, and “youth thought”, and this platform will include discussions The youth element mixes with experienced people; To discuss issues of concern to young people, their outputs come with a set of future solutions.

The second session of the “Emirates thinkers” forum will host 45 Emirati speakers, experts, academics, youth and specialists in various vital fields, and it is expected that more than 650 participants from different groups of the public will witness the presence of a rich intellectual experience in which they see innovative visions in Emirati thought.

As for the target audience in the second session of the “Emirates thinkers” forum, in which young people occupy an advanced place, it includes many groups such as decision -makers, academics, researchers, media professionals and social media influencers.

The “Emirates thinkers” project is one of the strategic initiatives of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, which includes a package of other intellectual projects, including the “UAE leadership encyclopedia”, which was launched on January 26, 2024, and it aims to document the intellectual heritage of the Emirati leadership, And present it on an electronic platform in innovative interactive ways according to discreet scientific standards.

The “Emirates thinkers” project aims to achieve a number of goals, including: activating the contribution of national academic and intellectual expertise in the Renaissance process witnessed by the UAE; And strengthening soft power sources; This is by supporting Emirati scientific research initiatives, and encouraging the intellectual effort that supports the sustainability of comprehensive development.

The project march was established thanks to the support of “success partners” from researchers and specialists participating in this pioneering intellectual project, as well as partner institutions in it, namely: Dubai Police, Abu Dhabi Media Network, United Arab Emirates University, Khalifa University, Higher Technology Colleges, and Zayed University, in The center’s faith remained that “work comes from everyone and for everyone.”
