Direct flights between India and China
Minister Vikram Misri, the most senior Indian diplomat, has been visiting China since a clash between soldiers of the two countries in the Himalayas on their common border in 2020 led to a deterioration in relations between them.
The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the visit of a senior envoy to Beijing resulted in an agreement “in principle to resume direct air services between the two countries.”
