26.2 million taxi users in Ajman during 2024
Ajman on January 29/ WAM/ The Transport Authority in Ajman announced that the number of taxi users, during the year 2024, amounted to 26 million, 263 thousand and 418 using 13 million and 131 thousand and 710 trips, which represents an increase of 18% compared to the same period in 2023.
Engineer Sami Ali Al -Jallaf, Executive Director of the General Transportation and Licensing Corporation at the Transport Authority, stressed that these numbers show the increasing demand for the use of taxis as a main means of transportation in the Emirate of Ajman, indicating that the authority is constantly working to improve the quality of public transport services, which contributed to This increase is 18% during the year 2024.
Al -Jallaf pointed out that this increase supports the authority’s efforts to expand the public transport services network and provide comfortable and safe transportation for Ajman residents.
