Gerard is preparing to leave the Saudi agreement

English coach Stephen Gerard is close to leaving his club, according to a source confirmed to Agence France -Presse on Wednesday.
A source indicated that “the club officials submitted to the sustainability committee responsible for contracts for Saudi clubs, requesting the end of the relationship with Gerard.”
The source pointed out that “the decision to end the relationship with Gerard may be taken today (Wednesday) or tomorrow (Thursday),” before confronting the youth Friday in the eighteenth stage of the league.
It is expected that the agreement will be appointed by coach Saad Al -Shehri to supervise the team to succeed the former Leader of Liverpool.
The sustainability committee continued with Gerard and agreed with him to end all procedures by mutual consent.
The decision comes due to the results of the team, which occupies the twelfth place of five wins, four draws and eight losses in 17 games, as it collected only 19 points, five points behind the sixteenth place threatened with landing.
The team bid farewell to the King of Saudi Arabia Cup from the final price after losing to Al-Jabalin 1-3.
On the other hand, the agreement tops its group in the Gulf Cup of Clubs Championship with 12 points from four wins.
Since his appointment in 2023, Gerard, 44, led his team in 55 games in various championships, winning 19 games and drawing in 16 while losing 20.
Gerard, the Champions League with Liverpool in the 2004-2005 season, was appointed coach of the agreement from Aston Villa.
