Iraq rejects calls for displacement of Palestinians

Iraq announced today, its rejection of any attempts aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land, confirming their support for them in all fields.
Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein made a phone call to the Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Mustafa, during which the developments of the situation in Palestine were discussed after the ceasefire, and ways to enhance joint coordination to support the Palestinian people.
The minister stressed, according to a statement, “Iraq’s fixed position in supporting the Palestinian issue,” stressing “rejecting any attempts aimed at displacing the Palestinian people, and the importance of uniting efforts to enhance their steadfastness on its land.”
Hussein pointed out that “Iraq will continue to make the utmost efforts to ensure that the Palestinian file and support the rights of the Palestinian people are at the forefront of the priorities of the Arab summit agenda that Baghdad will host this year.”
