A surgical intervention ends the suffering of a patient from a central hole in the eardrum at South Al -Qunfudah Hospital

Continue surgical intervention shares in the ear, nose and throat department at South Al -Qunfudhah Hospital – a member of the Makkah Al -Mukarramah Health Gathering – in ending the suffering of a patient who was suffering from a wide central hole in the eardrum, by performing the first of its kind in the hospital using an endoscopic cardilage type Tympanoplasty. Through it the drumming using a composite Cartilage Graft, without the need for any external incision, which made the process of limited intervention surgeries that allow high accuracy in implementation and reduce periods of recovery.

The process was successful – thanks to God – as the results of the clinical follow -up showed a tangible improvement in the patient’s hearing and stability in his health, which reflects the efficiency of the technique used and the skill of medical cadres in providing specialized care at the highest levels.

This achievement is a qualitative step within the path of developing medical services provided to the people of Al -Qunfudah Governorate, and reflects the continuous efforts to enhance specialized surgery in the hospital and provide the latest treatment solutions using modern technologies.
