The institutions of Muhammad bin Khalid enhance the environmental and cultural awareness among students

Al Ain on January 30/ WAM/ The institutions of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan organized a set of environmental, cultural, heritage and craft events within the “Zayed Heritage” and “Shama Mohamed Environmental Education” projects, as well as cultural programs organized by the Future Generations Library.

This comes within the framework of the directives of Sheikha, Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural Institutions, and within her continuous efforts to consolidate environmental and cultural values ​​and enhance societal awareness.

The events witnessed a distinguished participation from students of Al Ain City Schools, where student delegations from Sultan bin Zayed School, Kindergarten Al -Maqam, Al Jahili School, and the Emirates National School who interacted remarkably attended the activities designed to stimulate creativity and explore and promote national identity.

Among the most prominent activities presented by the Future Generations Library were the reading sessions and interactive workshops in halls such as “The Light Hall awaits you”, “The Hall of Knowledge, does not stop crises”, and “Zayed and Rashid Hall” .. The students also enjoyed a tour of the mobile smart bus, Which added a distinctive technology and educational dimension.

In the context of supporting sustainability, the students of the Sultan bin Zayed School and students of Al -Jahili School cultivated the Ghaf trees, which is the symbol of tolerance and love, within the “Shama Mohamed Environmental Education” program, as part of the afforestation initiative under the slogan “Blue Green Dime” that keeps pace with the national campaign ” The UAE”.

The initiative aims to enhance students’ environmental awareness and provide them with practical skills that support responsibility for the environment and society.

The “Zayed” team also organized the “Asala Al -Mady” workshop at the Coffee and Coffee School, to introduce students to the customs and traditions of Emirati hospitality. In the same context, the students enjoyed the embroidery workshop on the fabric organized by the handicraft unit, as they showed great interest in the art of traditional embroidery and expressed their desire to learn more Emirati craft skills.

The activities received a wide acclaim from teachers and students, who expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the institutions of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan in providing qualitative programs that enhance creativity and knowledge of new generations.
