المملكة: Launching the media bridges initiative to link international companies to Saudi talents

The Saudi Media Forum announced the launch of the “Media Bridges” initiative, which aims to link the leaders of major international companies in media production to Saudi talents and startups, as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance the media and cinema industry, and support local production to become a global competitor, in line with the target of Vision 2030.
The initiative attracts high -level participation from the leaders of major media production companies that have had a widespread impact in the entertainment and digital content sector, including Shondaland, represented by the President of Production Tom Verica, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, represented by Vice President Marius Rocoll, and Netflix, represented by Vice President for Content Affairs In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Starz, represented by the Vice President of the original programs Karen Bailey, in addition to Apple Music, represented by the editor -in -chief of content in the Middle East and North Africa Samer Antoine Doumat.

“Media Bridges” initiative

The initiative aims to provide a platform for dialogue between leading companies and Saudi talents, as specialized meetings will be held between global leaders and the concerned Saudi authorities, to discuss ways to develop local production and expand Saudi business in international markets.
The latest trends in the digital media industry, challenges facing local production, and effective marketing mechanisms will be discussed in light of the rapid technological developments.

Support national cadres

Dialogue sessions will be allocated to gathering representatives of major production companies with Saudi officials and entrepreneurs in various fields, including television and cinematic production, digital distribution, media policies, media marketing, and media technology.
The initiative will also witness discussions on ways of cooperation in developing an organizational environment that supports national cadres in the field of production.
