Al -Khoury told «Emirates Today» that “my primary goal is to highlight the Emirati heritage of gold, in a unique way, and to deliver Emirati gold to the world, through designs inspired by the authentic Emirati heritage.”

In detail, the Emirati entrepreneur, Mohamed Siddiq Al -Khoury, said that he “loved the design of jewelry and diamonds since his childhood, which he inherited from parents and grandparents, and his mother was asking him to go with her when buying jewelry from a young age for her confidence in his taste.”

Al -Khoury added that «the idea of ​​the project was coincidentally when he wanted to buy some jewelry compliment to some members of his close family, and he discussed in many stores and did not find a design he liked, so his wife suggested that he take over the design himself for knowing his ingenuity in the design of jewelry and diamonds, and indeed the design that was accepted and appreciated Severe, even whoever saw his designs asked him for many other pieces. ” He explained that he encouraged the start of his project, when he found some shops trying to imitate his designs that he puts on his pages on social media, indicating that he made his decision to establish the project when the owner of the workshop that carries out his designs informed him, that he faces hardship in implementing them for its difficulty and encouraged him a lot on Starting his own project.

Al -Khoury pointed out that he contacted the Khalifa Fund for Project Development to obtain financing, so the fund asked him to provide a feasibility study for the project and began working on several ideas related to the “brand” or its brand, while providing models of its designs to the fund, indicating that the fund’s officials were impressed Heavily in designs and informed him that he was the first Emirati designing gold and diamonds and agreed to grant him financing quickly to start his project.

He indicated that he officially started his project in the name of “Gold Loul”, by tightening the waw, which is an Emirati word meaning (the past), since 2018, after he worked for years with external workshops and without his own “Brand”, explaining that his primary goal is to highlight the Emirati heritage of Gold in a unique way and delivery of Emirati gold to the world, global gendarme or as a unique and distinctive global brand, through designs inspired by the authentic Emirati heritage, indicating that there are many Emirati competencies in the field of gold design, did not get her opportunity to highlight their talents in this field.

He pointed out that the participation began recently in the specialized local exhibitions, so he was the first Emirati jewelry designer to participate in the “Ataya” exhibition in Abu Dhabi, then he participated in Gulf exhibitions, especially in Qatar, and he intends to participate during the current year in a number of Gulf exhibitions in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia next to Qatar And stressing that many official officials in the Gulf countries have bought products from his designs, and his designs wore Emirati and Gulf media and female artists, such as the artist Ahlam, Balqis, Diana Haddad, and the media of Jane Imran and others.

Al -Khoury called for government support to reach Emirati gold designs to the world, by granting facilities to Emirati designers to hold their own factories and workshops and priority to participate in external gold exhibitions, and the priority in opening shops in commercial centers, indicating that some commercial centers refuse to rent shops for Emirati business leaders In important places, and insists on renting shops in places that visitors do not go to, on the pretext that important places are reserved for international brands only.

Al -Khoury also called for facilitating the registration of intellectual property rights for Emirati creators in the field of jewelry and diamond design, pointing to the suffering of the seizure of promotional designs and videos accompanying Emirati creators in this field, without taking any legal action that protects Emirati designers.
