His Excellency said that the non -oil foreign trade trade continued its rising track that it had started years ago, up to 3 trillion dirhams in 2024, with a standard annual increase of 14.6% compared to 2023.

His Excellency added in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that the annual growth rate achieved by our foreign trade in 2024 exceeded several times the rate of global trade growth that did not exceed 2% in the same year, as the latest data of the World Trade Organization indicates that the trade of cumulative goods since the beginning of 2024 To the end of September 2024, limited growth in size by 2.4% compared to the same period from 2023, while it increased by value by 1.6% during the comparison period.

His Excellency pointed out that the UAE foreign trade achieved at the end of last year 75% of the target number in “We are 2031”, that is, 7 years before the specified date, and with the continued current standard growth rates, during the coming years, we will achieve our goal by reaching 4 trillion dirhams years ago From the target date. His Excellency Al -Zyoudi explained that there are many positive indicators in foreign trade data for the year 2024, including that Emirati exports of non -oil goods were the largest contributor to the record growth of foreign trade, as they recorded 561.2 billion dirhams with a standard and unprecedented growth rate of 27.6% to achieve about 70 % Of the target of the 800 billion dirhams set by the “UAE 2031” vision. The contribution of non -oil exports increased to 18.7% of the non -oil Emirates trade during 2024, high from 16.8% in 2023 and only 14.1% during 2019.

His Excellency said: “This record contribution to our exports of non -oil commodities in the prosperity of our foreign trade confirms that economic diversification plans and the development and motivation of new economic sectors that bear fruit, and go better than planned to achieve our national targets, as well as non -oil exports with the 10 most important commercial partners of the state growth 37.1% and the rest of the countries growing 13.4%. ” Al -Zyoudi stressed that there is a clear positive impact on the comprehensive economic partnership agreements that entered into force in the prosperity of Emirati foreign trade. For Emirati non -oil exports during 2024, Turkey ranked second, and Emirati exports of non -oil goods continued to reap the fruits of the comprehensive economic partnership agreements program, as their total with the countries with which the agreements entered into force is 135 billion dirhams, with a record growth of 42.3% and a share of 24% One of the total non -oil exports.
