From “the quorum” to “the deal” .. Arab works expected on “Netflix”

Not a few years ago, the global “Netflix” platform began attention to the Arab content, which it provides to the viewers, and the “platform” was greatly distinguished in this aspect, and this matter was recently crowned, perfectly after the series “Al -Rawabi School for Girls”, by director Tima Al -Shomli, won the award The best Arab series at the “Joy Awords” party, which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, despite the intensity of the competition, the entry of major series, and huge productions, in the race.

This year, the global platform is betting on a number of various Arab productions between the Gulf, the Egyptian and the Levantine, and different patterns that include comedy, drama, excitement, suspense, and reality programs.

The Kuwaiti series “Al -Nisab” highlights one of the most important works that narrate “Netflix” its fans, and the work belongs to the category of excitement and suspense, and it is starring: Abdullah Al -Saif, Sherine Reda, Kakouki and Fai Fouad. It is written by Faisal Al -Balushi and directed by Issam Abdel Hamid.

The events of the series revolve around “Habib”, which is a fragmented contemporary, plans for bold and qualitative actions, targeting wealthy people, which makes him a goal for a stubborn investigator who chases him in all his steps, but “Habib” exploits his intelligence and cunning; To remain ahead of him at least.

From Lebanon, the series “Franklin”, which brings together the two stars: Muhammad Al -Ahmad and Daniela Rahma, and co -starring: Fayez Qazaq and Tony Issa. The series is written by Sherine Khoury and directed by Hussein Al -Manbawi.

The series, which belongs to the drama and crime works, presents the story of a genius forgery artist, and a father devoted to his family, forced by conditions to cooperate with his ex -girlfriend in order to falsify a banknote identical to the 100 dollar category, with the aim of saving the life of his sick daughter.

From Egypt, “Netflix” is considered its followers – from the lovers of laughter and humorous positions – a distinguished work, as it announced its intention to present the series “Catalog”, which is co -starring: Mohamed Farraj, Bayoumi Fouad, Khaled Kamal and Tara Imad. It also witnesses a special appearance of the star Reham Abdel Ghafour. The story of the series revolves around a father who loves his work as the obsession, so he tries to reconcile him with raising his children, who bear responsibility alone after the death of his wife, but he depends on her advice, which she had previously published on the Internet.

“Catalog” will not be the only comedy series. From Kuwait, another work will be shown with the comedy character entitled “Groom and two brides”, and it is distinguished by the mixing between romance and comedy. The series is starring: Abdullah Bushehri, Lulwa Al Mulla, Laila Abdullah, Hamad Ashkanani, and written by Iyad Saleh and Rami Ali, and directed by Elie El Saman.

The events of the series revolve around the young “Adam”, who seeks to marry his bond daughter at work, but the spark of his old love ignites, again, in his heart at the same time, which enters him into funny comic situations, and pushes him to make chaotic decisions and live a confused life.

After achieving unparalleled success in its first presentation, the famous series “The Deal” returns to “Netflix” with a second season full of interesting events in the world of money, stock exchange and financial markets. The audience will remain on a date with the stars of the first season, and on: head Rawan Mahdi, Mona Hussein, Muhammad Al -Mansour, Jassim Al -Nabhan, Faisal Al -Omairi, Hussein Al -Mahdi, and Rayyan Diashi, and new actors are joined by them, including: Hamad Ashkanani, Asmahan Tawfiq, Mai Al -Balushi, and Suleiman Al -Bassam.

The series is written by Adam Supple, Ann Souble, and Nadia Ahmed. It is directed by Jassim Muhanna, in cooperation with Abdullah Bushehri.

During the year 2025, Netflix continues to show a new series of reality “Dubai Bingling”, which was a great success in its previous seasons, and attracted millions of viewers.

The “platform” had opened its first Arab works with the screening of the movie “From behind the Wave”, starring Nadine Labaki, Ziad Al -Bakri, and directed by Matti Brown. The film tells the story of a couple who meet with their two children on a charming, deserted island, and they are struggling to survive, with their keenness to hide their secrets from their two children.
