The authority opened the door for receiving the nominations of the employees of the federal authorities wishing to obtain a devotional vacation for free work, provided that the submission of employees requests according to the approved mechanisms, during the first week of February, the approval of the list of candidates by the federal authorities, and their submission to the authority before the end of the second week of the same month, After that, the nominations will be sorted and the employees’ interview by an independent technical team, and then the adopting the approved list.

An exceptional opportunity

In a special circular, the Authority urged the ministries and federal authorities to motivate its citizens’ employees to benefit from this exceptional opportunity, and to enable them to apply for a devotional vacation for free work in accordance with the specific assets and controls, confirming its full willingness to provide support and support to the authorities, because of the service of the aspirations of the rational leadership and government trends.

The authority also held two hypothetical workshops directed to the federal government employees, to explain the details of the initiative, attended by approximately 300 employees, confirming that the nomination process to benefit from the leave is automated, and is self -evident through the human resource information management system in the federal government, “My Data”.

This came at a time when the authority confirmed the conclusion of the second phase of the devotion of free work, for the employees of the federal government, where the beneficiaries of it had the opportunity to participate in the labor market within the private sector, and to contribute to the establishment or management of their projects in this vital sector that supports economic growth in The state.

In this regard, the Acting Director General of the Federal Human Resources Authority, Faisal bin Butti Al -Muhairi, confirmed the end of work in the second batch of the devotion of free work, after a full year during which the commission provided a lot of support to the beneficiaries in partnership with the strategic initiative partners at the state level; In order to enable employees who want to engage in the private labor market, and to establish and manage their entrepreneurial projects in this important vital sector.

He explained that the leave reflects the pioneering thought of the leadership of the UAE, which aims to motivate national cadres to enter the world of entrepreneurship, as it targets Emirati employees working in the federal government agencies, and is granted to the employee to establish or manage his economic project, and its duration is one -year paid.

Establishing special projects

Faisal Al -Muhairi stated that the authority launched two sessions of the initiative, from which a group of employees benefited from them, who succeeded in establishing their own projects, or devotion to manage their existing projects and enhance them, through training, follow -up and guidance, which is provided by a group of initiative partners and business incubators at the state level.

He pointed out that the beneficiaries of each of the first and second batches of entrepreneurs completed a whole year, and achieved remarkable successes, within the period of the leave that enjoys care and follow -up, to enable the largest possible number of citizens of the federal government to citizens, to take advantage of this exceptional opportunity, and to establish and manage their own projects, It contributes to the national economy, and supports the state’s efforts to enable national competencies, build its capabilities and enhance its skills in various fields.

The authority formed a consulting council for the full -time vacation leave, representing the consulting companies and the competent authorities, and partner business incubators, and formed a specialized team to support the employees of the ministries and the federal authorities who benefit from the devotion of free work, it follows the progress of existing projects established by the employees, and provides the necessary support to them, And coordinate with their work agencies.

The authority thanked the partner business incubators at the state level for its role in the success of the initiative: (Khalifa Fund for Projects Development, Fujairah Center for Small Projects Support, and the Saud bin Saqr Foundation for Youth Projects Development, and the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai under the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, and the Foundation Sharjah to support entrepreneurial projects “Rawad”, Dubai Consulting Company, the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, the Federation for credit Information, the concession company for consulting specialized in commercial concession systems, and E -Wi -Conscing EY).

New initiatives

The “Authority” earlier inaugurated three new initiatives that serve the devotional vacation project, and helps in achieving its desired goals, namely: (Al -Ruwad Al -Tawjihi Program, with the aim of supporting entrepreneurs to achieve their goals, improve the process of managing their projects, and overcoming the challenges they face And ensuring its continuity, with the support of the experts of field specialists in the partner business incubators, throughout the leave period).

As for the second initiative, it is the “Agenda of the Pioneers Development”, which includes the most prominent training and development programs for managing private projects, presented by partners, with the aim of improving the skills of entrepreneurs and their marketing and commercial knowledge “, and includes dozens of specialized training programs, on project management, economic feasibility studies, marketing, and others One of the programs that meets the need for the basic entrepreneurs, which enables them to start and manage their professional projects.

The third initiative is the “Business Pioneers Community”, which the authority will launch at a later time, through its smart application of Fahr, to form an interactive platform, which brings together entrepreneurs who benefit from the leave, from various batches; In order to exchange opinion and advice, based on practical experience, regarding the establishment and management of private projects, in order to overcome challenges, all the way to the best results.

The authority has so far held 12 virtual workshops directed to the federal government employees, to explain the details of the initiative, which was attended by approximately 2,700 federal employees, and the nomination process to benefit from the vacation is automated, and is self -evident through the human resource information management system in the federal government, “My Data”.

Exchange of experiences and knowledge

An interactive session between entrepreneurs from the first and second batches was organized; In order to get acquainted and exchange experiences and knowledge, on the projects and economic activities they run, and to discuss the possibility of joint economic cooperation between them, in a way that enhances the success stories of entrepreneurs, educates the employees of the federal government, and motivates them to benefit from the initiative. All civilian employees working in the federal authorities have the right to obtain a full -time vacation, with the exception of employees of companies owned by the federal government, temporary contract employees, and partial working hours. The period of devotion of free work that is granted to the employee to establish or manage his economic project is one year, and in all cases the granting of this leave is a significant matter for the workplace, based on the availability of the conditions and controls approved, and according to what the work interest requires.

The employee may combine the devotion of free work and leave without salary and the annual leave due to him before the start of the devotion of free work, as well as during the functional devotion of the provisions of the Human Resources Law in the federal government and its executive regulations, and all decisions issued to it.
