Dubai, February 6 / WAM / The Dubai Marine Authority of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation announced the launch of the “initial technical examination” service, designed specifically for yachts owners to facilitate procedures for obtaining navigation or operating permits before they arrive at the emirate’s territorial waters.
This service is the first of its kind globally, as it allows yachts owners and operators to be confirmed in advance of the acceptance of the sailing permit, which contributes to enhancing compliance with marine regulations and providing a smooth experience, in turn enhancing Dubai’s foreign Lachut’s visitor’s visitor.
Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Dubai Navy, stressed that this initiative comes within the framework of the continuous efforts to consolidate the position of Dubai as a global marine center, indicating that the emirate has exceptional attractiveness in the marine sector, which leads to launch qualitative initiatives that facilitate the arrival of tourists Through marine means, especially yachts.
