A research team from Jazan University wins a research scholarship on developing antibodies to the pulmonary cellasla bacteria

A research team from Jazan University at the Faculty of Pharmacy won research support exceeding one million riyals from the Saudi National Health Institute in a study entitled “Development of immune antibodies that work to dismantle the vital membranes of the cablemla pulmonary bacteria”. The research team includes 4 researchers headed by a. D. Muhammad Mufreh Al -Baraati, Professor of Biological Analysis at the College of Pharmacy, and the participation of Dr. Muhammad Ali Bakari, associate professor in the vital pharmacy technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Maryam Halwi from the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Ali Hanbashi, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and toxins at the College of Pharmacy.

And Dr. Al -Baraati indicated that the pulmonary bacteria that protect the antibiotics are one of the biggest risks that threaten the health care sector in the world, and we are working in our research study to evaluate the risk posed by the resistance of multiple medicines in the bacteria that negatively in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we in our study conducting detailed analyzes of bacteria infection Executing drugs, pharmaceutical tests for antibodies to these bacteria, and work to discover a successful drug composition to eliminate bacteria that usually arise in hospitals.

This achievement comes as an affirmation of the excellence of employees of Jazan University of faculty members and students in the fields of pharmaceutical drugs and biotechnology, which enabled them to win prestigious international prizes and grants, including the global “Modern” grant for the development of the vaccine industry and recent research support.

It is noteworthy that the institute is working to enable clinical experiences and transitional research to ensure its quality and efficiency of its outputs, financing transitional research and clinical experiences and supervising its implementation, as well as providing training and development programs supportive to researchers of various health specialties, and enabling them to lead to leading health research in the Kingdom.
