Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, witnessed the opening session of the meetings of the Libyan Military Committee (5+5) hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt, which comes as a continuation & nbsp; The parties to prevail in the interest of the Libyan state and its brotherly people, and support the international efforts of the United Nations mission aimed at stabilizing the unity of the Libyan state. & Nbsp;

The committee’s meetings dealt with discussing a number of issues of common concern with the aim of unifying visions that support the stability of the Libyan state and taking consensual measures to preserve the Libyan social fabric unit and achieve the sovereignty of the Libyan state on its soil.

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces stressed during the opening session his appreciation for the historical relations and ties that link the Egyptian and brotherly people, praising the continuous efforts of the Libyan brothers and their attempts to approach views to unify the state and security state institutions and emphasize the ceasefire agreement in a way that supports the pillars of security and stability Inside the Libyan lands.
