Abu Dhabi Police invites parents to protect their children from strangers who take advantage of the summer vacation to promote drugs

Abu Dhabi Police called on parents to protect their children from strangers who use the summer vacation to promote drugs, by not playing or talking to strangers and rejecting any gifts or sweets from anyone who does not know.
In an awareness bulletin, “Emirates Today” received a copy of it, the families to monitor the friendships of children and direct them to safe and useful activities.
The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police continues its awareness efforts in combating drug security between all groups of society and the definition of families and community members of the damage of the drug scourge and their negative effects and methods of preventing them and addressing them in all forms through plans, programs and educational campaigns that are organized throughout the year.
She stressed the importance of the role of the family as the first line of defense to prevent the drug scourge, and urged them to have positive communication with the children and protect them from bad friends, and to invest their spare time during the summer vacation by developing their skills in a manner that ensures them feeling confident and responsibility towards themselves and their homelands.
She called for the importance of the concerted efforts of all concerned institutions in educating community members of the dangers of drug use and promotion and reporting suspicious cases through the communication channels developed by the Abu Dhabi Police through a safety exchange service on the number 8002626.
