"Dubai Culture" Release "International Technical Exhibitions Scholarship" In support of local creativity

Dubai, February 12/ WAM/ The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai Culture, launched the “International Technical Exhibitions Scholarship” initiative to support local art galleries and enhance its participation in international events.
The initiative aims to enable Emirati and resident artists and promote cultural and creative industries in Dubai and is managed by “Art Dubai” and aims to highlight the local cultural sector.
This grant covers 50% of the cost of international participation and is available for artistic halls in Dubai, which represents local artists for at least three years.
Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, Executive Director of the Arts Sector in “Dubai Culture” pointed out the importance of the initiative in strengthening the arts sector and consolidating the position of Dubai as a center of creativity, which enhances international cultural communication.
William Lori, from the “Lauri Shabby hall”, which represents a group of Emirati artists, praised the support of “Dubai Culture” and considered it a great step for the art community in Dubai, noting that the grant provides the showrooms with the opportunity to present the works of local artists globally, which enriches the cultural scene in The emirate.
