The UAE celebrates World Security International Day 2025

Abu Dhabi, February 12 / WAM / The Emirates Safe Internet Association celebrated the World Security Day 2025 under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence at Abu Dhabi University yesterday.

The association is keen to participate in international efforts to promote the International Security Day 2025 during the month of February of each year to encourage the safe and responsible use of digital technology, especially among young people around the world.

The ceremony was attended – by hypothetical – His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al -Kuwaiti, Chairman of the Cyber ​​Security Council of the UAE government and His Excellency Dr. Saeed Al -Fihari, Director of the Center for Future Studies at Dubai University, during which the exceptional efforts of students of educational institutions in the UAE were honored to enhance online safety and participants in the Stogokumpe competition by giving them the second version From the online child protection award.

This award was launched in 2023 with the aim of appreciating the distinguished contributions of students and educational institutions in addressing the international epidemic of abusing children via the Internet.

The association also honored the students who participated in the STOGO FEST in cooperation with Tachyon360.

The Stogocomp competition is an open competition for school students to allow them to show their skills in the field of artificial intelligence and robots.

This competition aims to encourage students to develop problem -solving skills and the ability to innovate and excellence, to plan a bright future for themselves and contribute to the sustainable and comprehensive growth of the UAE.

These initiatives play an important role in finding new solutions to combat digital risks, and create a safe digital environment for young people and children.
