The global economic fragmentation requires collective solutions

Finance Minister Mohamed Al -Jadaan said: The economic fragmentation requires collective solutions, and the evidence for this is the effective response made by multilateral institutions in times of crisis.
This came during the participation of the Minister of Finance in the high -level round table within the work of the World Government Summit, which came under the title “Re -perceive the future of multilateral cooperation and the Future Fund.”

Enhancing the role of institutions

The minister added that to preserve this momentum, we must enhance the role of international institutions to ensure their survival, fast, quickly and effectively.
He stressed during the meeting that pluralism remains our most effective tool in facing global challenges.
The minister chaired the third session of the forum’s work entitled “Financial Policy and Flexibility in the face of climate change”, with the participation of a number of ministers, government officials and economic experts from different countries of the world.
The session discussed the economic costs caused by climate change in the region, in addition to the financial risks and pressures related to that, including the risk of debt sustainability, especially for many countries that burde debt, and speakers also offered a series of solutions necessary to enhance the ability to adapt to climate change.
On the sidelines of his participation in the summit, Al -Jadaan signed with the Minister of State for Financial Affairs in the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Hadi Al -Husseini, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the financial field between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
