The first Arab Emirates in the World Happiness Report 2025

The UAE ranked first in the Arab world and the 21st globally in the Global Happiness Report for the current year 2025, which included 147 countries, and witnessed most Scandinavian countries to arrange.
Finland ranked first in the world, followed by Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and the Netherlands, while the United States ranked 24th.
Kuwait ranked 30th in the world and the second in the Arab world, then Saudi Arabia 32 globally and the third in the Arab world, Oman is ranked 52th globally and the fourth in the Arab world, Bahrain 59 globally and the fifth in the Arab world, Libya 79 globally and the sixth in the Arab world, then Algeria 84 globally and the seventh in the Arab world, Iraq 101 globally and the eighth in the Arab world, the Palestinian lands 108 globally and the ninth in the Arab world.
This year’s report includes 147 countries, which have been classified according to several factors, among them the gross domestic product of the individual, the expected health life, in addition to the opinions of the population of states.
The World Happiness Report was launched for the first time in 2012, which is an annual survey conducted by the United Nations Sustainable Development Network.
