المملكة: The Minister of Industry lay the foundation stone for 4 factories in the city of Sudair

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al -Khar, visited the city of Sudair for Industry and Business, accompanied by the CEO of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “Cities” Eng. Majid bin Rafid Al -Arqoubi.
During the visit, His Excellency laid the foundation stone for four industrial projects, including insulin factory, a food industry company, and a food factory.
In addition to a project for a contracting company for a contracting company, which will produce metal structures and its parts, and the total volume of the four factories investments exceeds 2.1 billion riyals, of which the Industrial Development Fund provided financing of more than one billion riyals.

Empowering entrepreneurship

The graduate was briefed on infrastructure development projects, industrial and logistical homes, including the project to establish 40 factories ready to enable entrepreneurship, to contribute to achieving the targets of the national industry strategy.
The signing of the National Academy for Industry also witnessed a triple memorandum of understanding with “cities” and Al -Majma’ah University, and a memorandum of understanding between “cities” and the Al Birr Charitable Society in Al Majmaah, in addition to concluding “cities” for a contract with the Kuwait KDD company to establish a factory in Sudair City for Industry and Business.
It is noteworthy that the city of Sudair for Industry and Business of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, with a developed area of ​​16.9 million square meters, and includes 444 industrial, investment and logistical contracts.
