UNRWA: 40 thousand Palestinians were forced to leave their homes in the West Bank
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) announced today, Saturday, that more than 40,000 Palestinians were forced to leave their homes in the occupied West Bank. Philip Lazarini, UNRWA Commissioner -General, said during the Munich Security Conference 2025, that the agency’s financial situation is bad and there is no clarity on the future. He pointed out that there is no other international agency capable of providing the services provided by UNRWA, stressing that the agency can play a role in a comprehensive political solution in the Middle East. Earlier, the UN agency revealed that its teams provided food aid to more than 1.2 million people, since the ceasefire in Gaza began.
