Zelinski rejects any peaceful solution to the conflict with Russia without the participation of Ukraine

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski said he would not accept a peaceful solution to the conflict with Russia if his country does not participate in the talks.
In response to a question about whether he could accept a deal that was negotiated without Ukraine, Zellinski said during an interview with the American “NBC” network “La”, in light of the facts that Russia and the United States may hold bilateral talks on the issue.

Ukraine membership in NATO

Zelinski said that Ukraine needs security guarantees, and that the words are not enough, noting that one of the guarantees can be membership in NATO (NATO), and that this is the most suitable solution for all parties.
He added that without security guarantees, he does not believe that an economic agreement will succeed, calling for justice.

He warned that Russia’s arrival at the wide metal resources in Ukraine would be dangerous, given that rare minerals cannot be used in making mobile phones or electric cars, but also missiles.

Raw materials in Ukraine

During the Munich Security Conference, Zelinski said that he would re -negotiate a treaty with the United States on extracting raw materials, saying that he did not agree to sign the agreement because it has not yet been completed.
Zelinski has confirmed that any exploitation of these resources by the United States should be linked to security guarantees that protect Ukraine from any future Russian aggression.
He added: “For me, it is very important to link some kind of security guarantees with the form of some forms of investments.”
