In a post on her account on the “X” platform, Shakira, 48, explained to her fans that she had to go to the emergency room because of a “abdominal problem”.

“The doctors who are currently receiving them informed me that I am not in good condition enough to perform this evening,” Shakira said.

She added: “I am very sad because I could not go up on the stage today. I was looking to reunite the great fans here in Peru.”

The famous singer, who was preparing to hold a show ceremony at the “Nacional Stadium” in the capital of Peru Lima on Sunday evening, expressed her regret and said: “I hope to be in good health tomorrow so that I can make the offer.” (Fuchsia)
