The UAE continued to export it in the “Agiliti Logistical Index for Emerging Markets” in the 2025 edition, while providing the best business environment, outperforming most of the emerging economies in logistical and digital opportunities, according to what the index, which is an international standard for competitiveness in the logistical services sector for global markets Summit 16 years ago.

Within a list of 50 emerging markets around the world, the UAE ranked first in the Gulf and the third globally, after China and India, which enjoy the preference in classifications due to their economic size.

According to the index, the UAE continues its endeavors to reduce the gap with countries that lead the classification, which reflects the success of its investment strategy.

The index showed the UAE’s progress in the first six ranks to enhance its competitiveness across all categories of the index, which are international and local logistical opportunities, business practice and digital efforts.

All the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council came among the first 11 ranks in the pillars of business practice, as the UAE topped the classification in terms of the best business environment, while Saudi Arabia came in third place, and Qatar is in fifth place.

In terms of digital readiness, China, the Emirates, Malaysia, Qatar and Saudi Arabia came in the lead.

As for the category of international logistical services opportunities, the list is issued by China, India, Mexico, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, while in the local logistical services sector, the first ranks of China, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE were ranked.

Countries are classified in the list of 50 leading countries in emerging markets around the world, based on the important factors for logistical services providers, shipping services providers, air and maritime transport companies, distributors, and investors.

While the classification witnessed the stability of the advanced positions between the 50 countries included in the index, there were fluctuations and changes in the lower ranks within the index, where China, India, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Thailand, and Vietnam topped the first 10, while Colombia jumped to (21), while Nigeria fell to the rank (43), Bangladesh to rank (39), and Ukraine to the ranking (40) in the ranking.

The index for 2025 praised the UAE’s efforts to expand the scope of public and private partnerships, the active movement to meet climate challenges, collect logistical and industrial activities, improve customs performance, enhance air and maritime communication, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, support startups, and develop digital skills.
