Setting goals and evaluating performance
This stage aims to define functional and professional goals for each educational job operator, and to evaluate performance according to clear criteria that ensure the development of general performance and the achievement of more quality educational outcomes.
The stage includes all educational job occupants working within the school, including teachers, school principals, agents, health mentors, laboratory preparations, activity pioneers, student mentors, and kindergarten teachers. It also includes supervisory formations that operate outside the school.
Stages of career performance planning
The Ministry of Education explained that the process of planning job performance is going through several stages that begins to see the validity of the self -service in the “Fares” system, where the occupants of educational jobs can verify the possibility of entering the service and completing the necessary steps.
After that, the stage of job performance, which requires the employee to implement his duties in accordance with the specified standards, with a focus on professional performance, interaction with the work environment, and achieving the required educational goals.
Then comes the step of preparing the job performance charter, in which the goals of each educational employee are determined based on his job and specialized field, and to clarify the required expectations from it during the school year, as this charter is a basic document that is referred to when assessing the performance.
In the last stage, the functional performance evaluation form is seen, a model through which the employee’s achievement of the goals that was agreed upon in the performance charter, and this evaluation includes specific elements focusing on productivity, achievements, skills, self -development, and the extent of adherence to standards Professional and moral at work.
Improving the quality of education
The Ministry of Education emphasized the importance of this stage in improving the quality of education and ensuring the continuous development of educational job occupants, stressing the need for positive interaction by all employees covered in this course to ensure the achievement of the goals required efficiently and effectively.
The Ministry also called on all the occupants of educational jobs to see the details of the evaluation forms through the Faris system, benefit from the available guidance evidence, and to ensure the implementation of the evaluation and planning processes accurately and organized, in a way that contributes to enhancing functional and vocational performance and helps in achieving excellence in the educational process.
This procedure comes within the strategy of the Ministry of Education to develop the professional performance of educational cadres, enhance the work environment inside schools, and achieve excellence in educational performance according to international best practices, which contributes to improving the quality of education in the Kingdom and upgrading its outputs.
