“X Dubai” concludes the “Easte 139” event with 437 leaps from Burj Khalifa

XDUBAI has revealed the organization of a global sporting effectiveness for free jump in Burj Khalifa, in cooperation with the Dubai Economy and Tourism Department, Sky Dive Dubai and Emaar, to enhance Dubai’s position as a global center for exceptional achievements.
The “Easte 139” event represents the first global show of its kind for free jump, as it collected 31 of the best free jump players in the world to perform an exceptional leap from the Burj Khalifa; Adding to the great success achieved by the first jump from the tower in 2014, and the event this year made a special offer for two days, celebrating skill and endurance.
The event witnessed the participation of a group of distinguished athletes from 15 different countries, where they carried out several leaps to test their capabilities, which reflects the spirit of innovation and unlimited ambition that is characterized by the Emirate of Dubai.

Historical leap with unprecedented standards
A special platform for this challenge is designed with a length of 12 meters that extend 6 meters outside the 139th floor balcony from Burj Khalifa, to allow athletes to have a unique jumping experience that requires high accuracy.
X Dubai was keen to apply the highest safety and security standards in all aspects of the event, confirming its commitment to technical excellence.
The event witnessed over two days the implementation of 437 jumps with a tight planning and a high concentration, as the jumps were not limited to artistic mastery, but rather it exceeded to be an expression of individual creativity for each athlete, as each of them gave his own touch, which made each leap a unique artistic masterpiece.
The competition was not just a test of skills, but rather a challenge to will and determination, as 31 athletes who spent years of training participated to reach this level, in an attempt to overcome the traditional limits of human capabilities, to be an inspiration for future generations to achieve the impossible.
A jump exceeds the limits of gravity
As for the Emirati athlete Ahmed Al -Shehhi, the jump was not merely a physical challenge, but rather a review of mental strength and diligence. Commenting on his participation, Al -Shehhi said: “Jumping from the Burj Khalifa is a dream for all the athletes of free jumping; it is not just a challenge to gravity, but an experience to break the mental barriers that we set for ourselves.
