The UAE strongly condemns the Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip

The UAE in the strongest terms condemned the Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing and injury of hundreds of Palestinians, which is a violation of the armistice agreement reached last January, warning of the consequences of the military escalation that threatens the occurrence of more innocent victims, and the aggravation of the human tragedy witnessed by the sector.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE called on the international community to take urgent steps to stop the escalation, and to make all efforts without slowing down to reach an immediate ceasefire, protecting civilians, and stressed the importance of stopping the punitive procedures for life, restoring electrical current, opening the crossings and delivering humanitarian aid urgently, safe, sustainable and without any obstacle, and stressed the need to resume the armistice agreement between the two parties.

And it warned that the continuation of the Israeli air strikes on civilians and residential areas would fuel the situation in the occupied Palestinian land, and the region’s drawing to new levels of violence, tension and instability.
