"Emirates to care for the righteousness of parents" The Holy Quran Competition concludes March 24

Dubai, March 18/ WAM/ The Emirates Association for the Care of Parents is organizing Dubai Burj Al Arab branch on March 24th, the closing ceremony of the Holy Quran Competition in its second session, which started on February 20 in cooperation with Maktoum centers for the Holy Qur’an and its sciences.

The competition coincides with the anniversary of the departure of the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, “may God have mercy on him”, and it has the presence of Sheikha Latifa bint Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the supreme president of the Zabeel Women Club.

The competition witnessed a great demand from parents from all the emirates of the state to participate in this targeted humanitarian initiative that provides lessons for current and future generations, and enhances belonging and loyalty to the dear homeland and wise leadership.

The competition aims to honor the elderly as a kind of response to the generation of generations, in addition to keenness to provide care for them and preserve our societal values ​​that emphasize the respect of adults. The award also contributes to enhancing sustainability in charitable and pastoral work for the elderly, and consolidating the concept of parental care for children and grandchildren.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Honorary President of the Emirates Association for the Care of Parents, stressed the importance of the Holy Quran competition held by the association in its second session, which coincides with the anniversary of the departure of the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, “may God have mercy on him.”

His Excellency pointed out that the competition targets the senior citizens as a kind of response to the beautiful to the raising of a generation of children and grandchildren, and expressing the association’s keenness to hold this event according to its directives to enhance the path of good and giving that Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum established through his humanitarian and charitable initiatives.

For its part, His Excellency Nisreen bin Darwish, a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Administrative Authority of the Emirates Association for the Care of Parents, Dubai Branch, said that the association launches various programs to meet the needs of senior citizens, including the second session of the Holy Quran Competition, which enhances their psychological, mental and social health.

She pointed out that the winners and shareholders will be honored on March 24th during the closing ceremony, with the support of the competition of the competition, Abu Dhabi First Bank and the company “HRA for real estate development”, praising their role in the success of community initiatives.

For his part, Mohamed Adeeb Hegazy, Chairman of the HRA Real Estate Development Company, expressed his pride in continuing to support these initiatives during Ramadan, stressing the importance of strengthening human values ​​and supporting needy societal groups.
