Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes is considered a research arm of the Ministry, which works To raise the efficiency of medical teams in their various categories inside and outside the authority, through an integrated research and training system, which includes a group of scientific and training cadres and expertise. The Egyptian Health Council is working on specialized rehabilitation and training, developing the level of medical and health training for medical teams on safe medical and health practice, as well as the adoption of scientific, professional, and specialized scientific programs for post -university education, and the adoption of professional certificates for those who pass these programs in health work branches The various medical training authorities approved by the council, and their testing to verify their fulfillment of adequate qualification for medical practice And health that achieves the highest degree of safety for patients and to ensure improved health services in Egypt, in accordance with the general health and medical policy of the state.

In order to achieve integration and cooperation in the field of training between the Council and the Authority to achieve international standards for safe health practice, to ensure the achievement of the Authority’s General Secretariat training center For international standards in the field of training and medical education. The most recent of which was the professional diploma for diabetes, which was also approved by the Health Council Al -Masry. And 841 trainees, bringing the total number of trainees to 147 thousand trainees, and the center also obtained the accreditation of the American Heart Association as an accredited training center for programs The training organized by the association in the field of primary and advanced cardiac resuscitation, and the association also participated with the authority in launching the first program for advanced care for stroke patients.
