"Dubai Electronic Security" It opens the door for registration for the “Electronic Space Leaders” program for the development of the digital generation
Dubai, June 16 / WAM / The Dubai Electronic Security Center announced the opening of registration in the new version of its summer program “Electronic Space Leaders”, directed to school students from 13 to 18 years old, whose activities start on June 30 and continue until July 10, at the headquarters of Dubai University, within an interactive educational environment aimed at developing digital skills and enhancing awareness of cyber challenges in the new generation.
The organization of the program comes in partnership with the Dubai Complex for Electronic Security Innovations, Dubai University, EMT and Tech Firm, within the framework of the center’s continuous efforts to consolidate the culture of cybersecurity, empower young people with knowledge and tools necessary to protect electronic space and contribute to building a safe and sustainable digital society.
His Excellency Youssef Al -Shaibani, Director General of the Dubai Electronic Security Center, stressed that the launch of the program comes within the center’s vision to prepare a conscious and qualified digital generation, capable of leading electronic space protection efforts during the next stage, indicating that enabling emerging generations with digital knowledge is an essential pillar in promoting Dubai competitiveness in the digital world, and moving towards a safe and sustainable environment based on advanced technology and cybersecurity.
The program includes a series of interactive lectures and workshops that mix the theoretical and applied side, and include basic topics in cybersecurity, such as creating strong passwords and digital safety practices, in addition to interactive competitions that promote critical thinking and innovation. The program also deals with advanced topics on protecting home networks and addressing electronic threats, as well as analytical activities and designing safe digital innovations, and recreational educational activities aimed at consolidating security concepts in an innovative and stimulating way.
