Three people were killed and two others were injured, one in critical condition, after a boat overturned off the coast of Statin Island in New York, USA, according to the US Coast Guard today, Monday.
Officials stated that another person is still missing, prompting search and rescue teams to continue their water operations in search of him.

Rescue efforts

The accident occurred about five miles southeast of Brzezi Point, a neighborhood in the Rockway Peninsula, Queens.
The Coast Guard confirmed that he paid three rescue boats and a helicopter to the accident site, while rescue teams removed five people from the water, and they were all transferred to the hospital, where three of them were announced.
New York Police said that the cause of the boat coup was still under investigation.
