Sharjah, February 24/ WAM/ The first international conference for copying rights management in the UAE, organized by the Emirates Association for the Management of Novels Rights with the participation of a group of experts and decision makers the importance of copying rights and intellectual property rights in promoting creative industries and the role of technology in managing copying rights through the use of digital tools Artificial intelligence to monitor compliance, collect data and update legislation related to copying rights to include new organizational mechanisms that take into account the developments of artificial intelligence And emerging challenges.
The conference recommended the launch of international initiatives to coordinate policies related to copying rights to ensure the compatibility of laws between countries, calling for supporting collective licenses as an effective way to protect the rights of authors and develop flexible models that are appropriate to the needs of educational and commercial institutions.
He stressed the importance of the concerted efforts of governments, international institutions and human rights organizations to ensure the protection of copying rights in light of the accelerated digital developments, considering that collective management and flexible licenses are the cornerstone of building a sustainable and fair creative environment that guarantees a prosperous future for creators.
