المملكة: Jeddah .. The launch of the digital “Agree” service to facilitate the procedures for commercial licenses
The Jeddah Governorate Municipality revealed the launch of the “Agree – Ask before it is hired” through the portal of its digital services, with the aim of enabling investors to match activities and commercial permits with municipal requirements before completing the regular procedures through the “Baladi” platform.
The Secretariat explained that this digital initiative contributes to raising the efficiency of licensing procedures and ensuring commercial activities in regular locations, which limits the cancellation of licenses later due to violations. The service includes a scale of 11 sub -municipalities in Jeddah Governorate.
How to take advantage of the service
The “Agaq” service allows the investor to ensure that the municipal requirements match before contracting to rent the site, then complete the procedures via the “Baladi” platform, including fulfilling the requirements of other parties (if any), pay the fees, and extract the license.
Benefits of service
- Supporting emerging projects by enabling investors to know the extent to which their commercial activities match the municipal requirements in advance.
- Reducing the cancellation of licenses resulting from the violation of spatial requirements.
- Reducing time and effort on investors in licensing extraction procedures.
- Avoid possible losses due to the site’s lack of conformity to the requirements.
Service use mechanism
The beneficiary can access the “Agree” service through the digital services portal through:
- Choose “Agree – Ask before you rent.”
- Complete the required procedures for the match.
- In the event of conformity, he can complete the licensing procedures via the “Baladi” platform.
- In the event of non -conformity, a message will be received to the beneficiary stating that the site does not match the required activity.
Through this service, the Jeddah Municipality seeks to enhance the investment environment by creating a database that facilitates the classification of commercial activities according to its nature (professional – food – health), as well as supporting investors in preparing feasibility studies for their future projects.
