Dubai Holding aspires through the second edition of the “Heba in its place” to convert a larger number of new products and goods into gifts during the holy month of Ramadan, after the remarkable success achieved by this initiative last year by distributing 120 thousand products and booms with a total value of 7 million dirhams over more than 10,500 beneficiaries in Dubai. This initiative will be launched when the holy month of Ramadan is notified, knowing that it is being implemented within the framework of the “Dubai Holding” program for charitable works and in harmony with the vision of the 2025 declaration “The Year of Society” in the UAE.

The “Heba in its place” combines the spirit of giving and the sustainability strategy in “Dubai Holding”, which contributes to promoting consumption and production responsible in line with the goal (12) of the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations. This initiative aims to collect and reuse new products and goods from various companies affiliated with the “Dubai Holding” portfolio and its shareholders, which helps in pushing the wheel of the circular economy forward by converting unused materials into valuable products that benefit the needy. The distributed gifts include personal care products, clothes, accessories, home appliances and games, knowing that last year’s version of this initiative succeeded, along with enriching the lives of beneficiaries in redirecting more than 30 tons of supplies away from landfills and parks.

In an effort by “Dubai Holding” to upgrade the experience of beneficiaries, the group will initiate this year to organize a vital market through which the beneficiaries can choose gifts that meet their individual needs.
