The Abu Dhabi Festival resumes its 22nd session during the month of Ramadan
Abu Dhabi, March 4 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Festival announced the resumption of the activities of its twenty -second session during the blessed month of Ramadan, with the digital show in the series of spiritual music for the exclusive commissioning work, “The Hey of Love”, for the Sheikh of the singers in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sheikh Mahmoud Al -Tohamy, on March 7 at 3 pm on the channel for the Abu Dhabi Festival on YouTube.
With the accompaniment of an orchestra composed of 25 musicians and a huge choir that includes 100 performers, Sheikh Mahmoud Al -Tohamy will perform a breathtaking performance that overwhelms the audience in an atmosphere of spiritual during the blessed month of Ramadan.
The “Heaven of Love” show will present a unique experience that mixes the masterpieces of hymns and chants, such as “Tosh Fouadi”, and modern pieces, including “O son of Adam” and “Language of Speech” by Muhammad Iqbal, to form an artistic harmony that combines the ancient texts and the modernity of musical compositions.
After the digital presentation of Sheikh Mahmoud Al -Tohamy, the Abu Dhabi Festival 2025 will continue its busy program from April 8 to April 29, as live performances will be launched with a series of distinguished events; The beginning will be with the first show in the Arab world of the Japanese Global Drums “Kodo”, which will be presented at the New York University Center for the University of New York, Abu Dhabi, an exceptional evening on April 8 and 9. The Abu Dhabi Festival 2025 this year celebrates fifty years of friendship and close cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Japan, which is the guest of the honor of the festival, which will be held this year under the slogan “Abu Dhabi … the world in a city”.
In line with the “Year of Society” in the UAE, the festival focuses on highlighting the ancient cultural exchange and common values that bring together the UAE and Japan, through a program full of distinguished technical and musical cooperation to form a bridge for communication between the ancient traditions and modern creative visions.
