Ramadan courses … an opportunity to discover talents in different games

Abu Dhabi, March 15 / WAM / Ramadan courses contribute to discovering promising talents, refining their experiences and capabilities, and is an important tributary of preparing sports competencies that can be relied upon in local clubs and national teams.

During the past years, Ramadan courses witnessed a remarkable development in terms of organization, television transport, public presence and technical level, especially after the increase in the number of games, to turn into annual professional copies that everyone awaits during the holy month of Ramadan, because of its positive returns to encourage community members to exercise in the month of Ramadan, as well as support for young players, especially the talented people who participate in or follow its stars.

The most prominent of these courses includes the Zayed Sports Championship for Junior Junior, which is held in its current version and gathering a group of emerging sports talents in the Emirates; It is a firm tradition in the Emirati sports scene, since its inception in 1997, and it attracted 42,453 athletes, 69 thousand and 620 visitors, and 716 teams, and its total total prizes reached 28 million and 700 thousand and 945 dirhams.

The tournament is witnessing in its current version of football competitions under 10 and 12 years, and in jujitsu, chess, gymnastics, and swimming, with a total prizes of 104 thousand and 600 dirhams.

The Mansour Bin Zayed Football Cup is one of the most prominent Ramadan tournaments that achieved a remarkable development in technical and organizational levels, to reach the highest levels during its current version, which is held with the participation of 16 teams, including a group of former and current professional players.

It recently announced the start of the first edition of the Ramadan “Hafeet Challenge” for sports, which is held in Al Ain, and includes many games, most notably football with the participation of 36 teams, in addition to the jujitsuwalgi, bikes, shooting and pair games, and 7 championships for people with determination.

The Nad Al -Sheba Sports course, which is held in its 12th edition, is also one of the most prominent sports courses in the month of Ramadan. Over the past years, the elite of stars from the UAE and abroad has been attracted, and it is currently held with the participation of more than 7000 athletes and sports who compete in 11 sports games, most notably Jujitsu, Al -Padil, and bikes. As well as the Sharjah Ramadan Sports Chamber of Football Sixth and Beach Volleyball, with 8 Asian teams, the Emirates, Iraq, Oman, India, Japan, Iran, Pakistan and Indonesia.

Majid Salem Al -Salvi, a member of the technical committee in the Mansour bin Zayed Cup Football Championship, stressed that the Ramadan courses were and still contribute greatly to highlighting promising talents in football and various sports, as it has become an exceptional station for the return of many former stars who moved away from sports appearance.

He said that the Ramadan courses exceeded the limits of friendly courses and are witnessing a remarkable public presence of all groups and nationalities, which enriches this distinguished annual experience in the holy month of Ramadan.

He explained that the Mansour bin Zayed Cup Championship is a clear evidence of the excellence of these courses in attracting many stars, which is reflected in the attendance and public passion for following them, especially in light of the distinguished organization in cooperation with the Emirates Football Association and the UAE Professional League.

In turn, Hassan Al Mazrouei, Director of Nad Al -Sheba Sports Course, said that since its launch, the course has contributed to the development of many games and highlighting them in the media, and presented championships that affected the sports scene, and also contributed to the consolidation of a different place of sports on the sports scene.

He stressed that the increase in the number of sports and the polarization of amateurs and professionals to participate in the competitions reflects the role of the growing event in supporting the sports sector and strengthening the Dubai Sports community.

For his part, Al -Najira Al -Khaili, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Bicycle Club, said that Ramadan sports courses have turned into a sporty carnival that attracts all groups and members of society as well as amateur and professional players, which contributes to the discovery of talents. He pointed to the role of these courses in supporting the emerging players with their contact with professional players.
