The UAE and the United Kingdom are strengthening cooperation in the field of combating illegal financial flows
Abu Dhabi, March 4 / WAM / His Excellency Ahmed Al -Sayegh, Minister of State, met His Excellency Dan Garfis, a member of Parliament and Minister of State for Security Affairs in Britain, in Abu Dhabi, with the aim of strengthening the partnership between the UAE and the United Kingdom to combat illegal financial flows.
The meeting was attended by high -level representatives from both countries, to discuss the main areas of cooperation, which include enhancing cooperation in the field of financial security, supporting the procedures for combating money laundering and facing the risks arising in the global financial system.
During the meeting, the two sides affirmed their joint commitment to enhancing transparency, strengthening organizational frameworks and applying international standards in combating financial crimes.
The two sides also stressed the prominent role of joint initiatives and the importance of exchanging knowledge in building a safe and flexible financial system.
