She added, to «Emirates Today», that the momentum in demand during the year 2025 is driven by continuous investments in the infrastructure, including new hotels, tourist attractions and transport networks, noting that the hotel industry in Dubai has witnessed strong profits in recent years, with the continuous flow of tourists to Dubai, and its position as a global center that enhances confidence between investors, which drives them to invest in establishing new hotels with expectations of profitability Sustainable.

In detail, the administrative director of the Insight Out Consulting Company, Lee Hawkins, said that “the tourism sector in Dubai continues to achieve remarkable growth, with expectations of continuing this momentum during the year 2025. Dubai received 18.72 million international visitors in 2024, recording 9.2% growth compared to 2023, in which the number of visitors reached 17.15 million visitors, and an increase of 19% In 2022, it reflects an upward path that enhances the emirate’s position as a global tourist destination. ”

“This momentum continues in 2025, with continuous investments in global infrastructure, including new hotels, tourist attractions and transport networks,” she added. It also contributes to increasing the attractiveness of Dubai, for visitors looking for luxury, and travelers with a limited budget, in addition to lovers of culture and adventure. Moreover, the global marketing campaign for Dubai will enhance its reputation as a safe and global city, and its ability to host major international events ».

Hawkins indicated that “government initiatives are working permanently to facilitate visa procedures, such as the golden visa program, enhance visitors’ experience, enhance sustainable tourism, and continue to pay growth in this sector, and all these factors show the city’s progress on the right path to achieve another year of records.”

“The hotel industry in Dubai has witnessed strong profits in recent years, as a noticeable growth has been recorded in the main performance indicators,” Hawkins said. According to the company’s research, the continuous flow of tourists to Dubai and its position as a global center promotes confidence among investors, which drives them to invest in the establishment of new hotels with expectations of sustainable profitability.

She stated that Dubai is one of the most prominent global tourist destinations, as it has strengthened strategic investments in infrastructure, various tourist attractions, marketing campaigns, its global attractiveness, by its ability to host major events such as (Expo 2020), in addition to a continuous flow of new landmarks and hotels, where Dubai continues to put itself as a strong competitor, along with cities such as London, New York, Paris and Bangkok.

“The hotel market and the tourism sector in Dubai appear strongly compared to the rest of the major global tourist destinations,” Hawkins added. This is caused by strategic growth in international visitors. The city’s ability to maintain high occupancy rates and reasonable prices, even as it expands in the number of hotels, reflects its flexibility and attractiveness in the global tourism market.

She explained that many factors will contribute to enhancing the growth of the tourism sector in Dubai in the future, as its rapid rise as a global tourist power was merely coincidence, but rather as a result of a studied strategy and strong investments in the sector.

She pointed out that the large expansion of the Al Maktoum International Airport, which is expected to accommodate about 260 million passengers in the future, will play an important role in enhancing Dubai’s position as a first -class global flight center, indicating that in addition to developing its infrastructure, Dubai is working to expand its tourism attractiveness through innovative projects within the Dubai Urban Plan 2040.
