"Dubai Aviation Industries" It acquires 17 billion dollars aircraft
Dubai, March 14 / WAM / “Dubai Aviation Industries” signed agreements with many parties to acquire 17 aircraft with a total value of about one billion US dollars.
This entire portfolio consists of new generation aircraft, 89% of which are aircraft with narrow body, and are divided into 80% of Airbus production and 20% of Boeing’s production, knowing that the 17 aircraft are leased to 11 airlines in 10 countries.
Upon completion of the deal, it is expected for these aircraft to reduce the average age of the fleet of passengers in Dubai Aviation Industries to 6.9 years and raise the average period of the remaining period of rental passenger fleet contracts to 6.6 years.
It is also expected when the deal is completed, the Dubai Aviation Industries fleet will consist of 46% of Airbus aircraft, 49% of Boeing aircraft, and 5% of ATR 72-600 aircraft.
