“Bou Hilal and his children” .. celebration of Emirati values and training children in “Al -Sanaa”
The Abu Dhabi Media Network celebrates the authentic Emirati values, through the cartoon series “Bou Hilal and his children”, which is directed to all family members, which is shown daily on the Emirates channel, where the work tells the story of the grandfather, who is training his grandchildren on the practices of “Al -Sanaa”, and encouraging them to preserve the authentic Emirati customs and traditions in a sustainable manner, by highlighting a case, in each episode, and a period of 15 minutes.
The interesting cartoon series begins; When “Bou Hilal” wakes up from a thirty -year coma; To find himself in 2025, and he became very! The children and grandchildren are lined up in front of the grandfather, “Bou Hilal”; To get to know them after waking up from the long coma. The joy of the family fades when the grandfather’s shock is aware of the appearance of his grandchildren, their modern life system, and his declaration of a state of extreme emergency; To save the family generation.
In the second episode, “Bou Hilal” is surprised that everything in his house is strange to him, and the generation of his grandchildren is not related to the customs and traditions he knows, so he declares the state of emergency, and decides to restore the character and behavior of his grandchildren to make, and the traditions on which he grew up.

As for the third episode, “Bou Hilal” takes his grandchildren to his single in the Al -Dhafra region, to subject them to a first training course in customs and traditions, but he faces the problem of their rejection of the changes that happen, and their desire to remain with their phones and smart devices, especially “Jaber” who does not like the idea.
In the fourth episode, “Bou Hilal” encourages his grandson Sultan to participate in the smart inventions, but his plan faces strange behaviors, which are issued by “Jaber”, who is trying to spoil the idea.
In the fifth episode, “Bou Hilal” decides to teach his grandchildren “the art of sniping with falcons”, so he takes them to the Liwa Desert, but the grandson “Hassoun” causes the escape of the most expensive hawk owned by the grandfather, so they start the journey to search for it.
The idea of the series revolves around the delivery of indirect awareness messages, integrated into the comedy, to the new generation, about the importance of adhering to the support, customs and traditions that the people of the Emirates were brought up, and the lack of loss of communication or ignorance of the past, which had the greatest impact on the greatness and great position enjoyed by the UAE, currently, on a global level.
The series aims to criticize and correct errors, and not to overlook the basic pillars of society, while stimulating the effort and time in integration with scientific and technological development, by focusing on the positives and rejecting negatives, and following the method of wise leadership, to graduate generations of Emirati youth who love their homeland, preserve it, and only satisfies the first place on all levels.
