The “Hamza” test .. a national tool with international standards that support Arab education globally

The test is one of the qualitative tools that contribute to unifying the criteria for evaluating Arab linguistic adequacy in academic and professional institutions in the world, in light of the increasing number of those enrolled in Arabic language education programs at rates exceeding 10 times compared to other language programs, which reflects the need for an accredited scale that helps individuals to prove their sufficiency in the Arabic language anywhere in the world.
Best international practices and standards
Based on the European Reference Reference Framework (CEFR), the “Hamza” test was built according to the best international practices and standards, as the King Salman International Complex for the Arabic Language conducted survey studies and reference comparisons with the most prominent language tests internationally approved, and was based on a team of specialists and experts to build accurate standards and scientific indicators to measure the adequacy of the Arabic language among other speakers, including, including, including, It is in line with the characteristics of the language and its various use.
The test aims to support the scientific status of the Arabic language, and to establish a reliable global scale for linguistic competencies, as well as providing qualitative inputs for educational institutions and Arabic language institutes to determine the levels of students and beneficiaries accurately and objectively.
The “Hamza” test serves multiple categories that include universities, institutes and centers of Arabic language education, and employment destinations, in addition to Arabic teachers and teachers from other speakers, while the institutions are allowed to comply between applicants for educational programs and scholarships, as well as among those wishing to employ in areas that require accredited linguistic adequacy.
Test 3 basic skills
The test measures 3 basic skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking, through 75 paragraphs distributed over 155 minutes, using artificial intelligence -backed monitoring techniques, including technical standards for cameras, speed of connection and operating system.
“Hamza” covers 4 linguistic levels starting from (A2) to (C1) according to the CEFR classification, and the result report shows the general laboratory level in addition to the levels of each skill separately, which gives the universities and the concerned authorities accurate indicators to assess the linguistic performance of the beneficiaries.
During the period from February 2024 to February 2025, the number of laboratories in the “Hamza” test reached more than 2,700 people, belonging to more than 60 nationalities, representing more than 50 entities, while the test was applied in the presence of 4 countries, in cooperation with 23 local universities and 8 international universities.
The “Hamza” test is characterized by its comprehensiveness, the diversity of its methods and its flexibility in the application, as it is available in accredited centers, or electronically, which provides a reliable experience for laboratories around the world.
