Hotels and restaurants in the emirates of the country continue to provide special offers F the month of Ramadan, which include discounts on the prices of residence, bouquets for breakfast and suhoor, as well as cultural and recreational experiences inspired by the spirit of the Holy Month.
The hotel and tourism movement takes place in general during the month of Ramadan from the exceptional activity of the movement of domestic tourism, in addition to the continuous foreign tourism movement.
The activities in the emirates of the state support the tourism movement. For example, Abu Dhabi presents a rich program of cultural and recreational events, including visiting prominent landmarks such as Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and the Nour and Salam Museum, which displays archaeological pieces that highlight the contributions of Islamic civilization, and the Al -Hosn area also embraces the “Ramadan in the fort”, which celebrates the Emirati heritage through the series of narratives and artistic performances.
Mother of the Emirates Park is a major community destination during Ramadan; It hosts the “Ramadan Garden Nights”, which includes heritage shows, Ramadan market and charitable initiatives, and Al Jahili Castle in Al Ain provides a championship for popular games to revive the Emirati heritage and enhance societal ties, in addition to the activities of “Ramadan in Al Ain” organized by the municipality of Al Ain City.
Dubai is transformed into a major Ramadan events center, through the “Ramadan in Dubai” campaign, which includes fireworks shows, night markets, and cultural events.
The city of “Expo Dubai” hosts the “Ramadan neighborhood” event, which provides cultural and tasteful experiences, while Al -Karama is witnessing the Ramadan food festival, with the participation of more than 55 restaurants.
The 42nd edition of the “Ramadan 2025 Nights” exhibition will be held in Sharjah at the Sharjah Expo Center, which includes more than 200 exhibitors and 500 brands, with discounts of up to 75%, along with cultural and recreational programs that suit families.
These activities reflect the increasing interest in Ramadan tourism in the Emirates; Where it combines cultural and recreational experiences, which enhances the state’s position as a major destination for tourism during the holy month.
Hosni Abdel -Hadi, CEO of Carlton Hotels in the Emirates, said that the hotel movement this year is witnessing momentum with the payment of increasing activities, pointing out that the movement of hotel reservations is still normal and higher than its levels compared to Ramadan of last year by about 10%.
He pointed out that the occupancy rate currently ranges between 65 and 75%, which is among the targets that were set for the Holy Month, explaining that domestic tourism tops the reservation movement at the present time, with the continued natural momentum of the external tourism movement.
He explained that the holiday reservations started from now with expectations that they will grow significantly during the coming days, bringing the occupancy rate significantly compared to the current days.
For his part, Walid Al -Awa, Director General of the Tamani Hotel, stressed that the movement in Ramadan is relatively more than the levels of reservations during the past year, as the occupancy rate in the hotel reaches about 70 or 75%, with expectations that it will increase to exceed 90% during the Eid period.
He said that the arrival of Ramadan this year as last year in the winter season made the occupancy rates close, and active, especially with the lead in the internal tourism movement in general during the holy month, noting at the same time to the continued activity of the external tourism movement, especially from the countries that coincide with annual leave at this time, especially the countries of Eastern Europe.
Suha Mitwalli, Director General of the Time Oak Hotel in Dubai, said that the occupancy rates amounted to about 65%, with expectations that they will increase in the coming days to reach about 80%.
She pointed out that the various Ramadan activities witnessed in Dubai and the UAE in general support the movement for the tourism of the Interior and External during the holy month, pointing out that the reservations for the Eid period started from now and expected that the occupancy rate will approach during the days of Eid from 100%.
