المملكة: Registration for i’tikaaf in the Two Holy Mosques during the month of Ramadan .. steps, conditions and controls

The General Authority for Care of the Two Holy Mosques provides an electronic service through which individuals can apply for a permit for i’tikaaf within the Two Holy Mosques, which the guests of Rahman accept in the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The retreat in this service undertakes to adhere to all the directives of the supervisors during the period of i’tikaaf, and not to violate any instructions or directives issued by the I’tikaaf Department, whether it is public or direct.
The retreat also acknowledges the right to observe the i’tikaaf to cancel the permit issued to him in the event that he does not adhere to any of these pledges.

Registration for i’tikaaf in the Two Holy Mosques

  • It is required that the applicant for retreat is Saudi or holds a valid regular residence.
  • It is required that the applicant’s age be at least 18 years old.
  • It is required that the applicant be in good health that makes him able to perform acts of worship.
  • The applicant is required to declare any chronic diseases or medications he needs periodically.
  • The applicant must declare his need for any type of special care.
  • The applicant undertakes the validity of all the information provided, and to adhere to all conditions and conditions. The Public Authority for Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque reserves the right to take appropriate measures in the event of a violation of any of these conditions and terms.

Conditions for the controls of the retreat

  • Dividers must adhere to all laws and directives of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
  • Divide should adhere to the places designated for i’tikaaf and sleeping places.
  • Dividers must adhere to the doors, entrances and movement paths designated for i’tikaaf.
  • I retirement must adhere to the etiquette and provisions of i’tikaaf and not enter into quarrels or actions that are not commensurate with the nature of i’tikaaf.
  • Dividers must adhere to the regulations for maintaining public taste, in relation to clothes, actions and sayings.
  • Dividers must respect the values, customs, traditions and culture prevailing in the Kingdom.
  • Dividers must adhere to not holding any lessons or seminars inside the mosque.
  • Detainees should not take children.
  • The retreat must not receive visitors or enable them to enter the retreat area.
  • Dividers must maintain the purposes of it and deliver them in good condition.
  • Detained should not sleep in places other than sleeping places.
  • Detainees should not occupy the roads and places not devoted to i’tikaaf.

General health controls for the retreat

  • Divide should adhere to the general health and preventive rules announced by the I’tikaaf Department.
  • Divide should adhere to the cleanliness of the i’tikaaf.
  • Dividers must refrain from bringing any special foods or drinks other than those distributed from i’tikaaf management.
  • Dividers must refrain from bringing any unauthorized personal purposes (only allows personal clothes)
  • Dividers must refrain from hanging clothes in non -areas designated for that.
