With a power of 6.5 degrees … an earthquake hit northeast Iceland
A 6.5 -magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale struck today, northeast of the Icelandic capital, Reykravic.
The European Mediterranean Seismology Center said: “The earthquake occurred about 975 km northeast of the capital, and at a depth of 10 kilometers,” said the European Mediterranean Seismology Center.
No reports have yet been reported about material or human damage as a result of the earthquake.

Greece earthquake
On the other hand, a 4.7 -magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale yesterday struck the west of the Peloponnez Peninsula, south of Greece.
The Geodamic Institute of the National Observatory in Athens stated that the earthquake occurred at 0213 am, near “Nia Vigalia” in the Elijah region, and was 20 km deep.
